For an Italian company manufacturer of electric bikes, we have realized 10.000 multipole anisotropic neodymium ring magnets for their pedal sensor.
Customer need was improve sensor reading precision and obtain a magnetic field with peak between 0.4 and 0.5 Tesla (T) with trapezoidal curve.
Our job focused on planning cooperation of innovative magnetic ring sensor with 0.4 T; Magnetic ring created has a thickness of 2,5 mm, an external diameter of 20 mm and an internal diameter of 16 mm. Magnetization is 24 radial poles.
Final customer has obtained a precision of +/- 1° on sensor, putting in the market an evolved system, precise and high performance.
