For a leader company in the field of home automation, we have realized 500.000 multipole magnetic rings in injected isotropic ferrite. The application? sensor for rolling shutter motor.
Customer’s requirement was to adapt magnetic ring to the tolerances of different shafts, avoiding magnet’s breaking during assembly phase.
Therefore, we have realized an injected ferrite ring, magnetized 4 poles, external diameter 25 mm, bore 8 mm and high 3,5 mm. The peculiarity of this ring is plastic insertion. In this way the magnet adapts itself to tolerances of different shafts, avoiding gluing and consequent magnet’s breaking!
Thanks to the magnetic sensor realized by Compo Tech Co, today the electric motor for rolling shutter has improved performances, efficiency, and precision of closing system. Moreover, the rolling shutter is completely automized in order to control the correct closing/opening of shutters.
