We have been recently contacted by a company manufacturer of pumps, fuel transfer systems and accessories for AdBlue tanks.
Saw that AdBlue has high corrosive properties, final customer requested us to develop and customize a magnet corrosion proof in case of contact with AdBlue, and at the same time, it has to keep same high neodymium magnetic properties, in order to unlock the valve of refuelling nozzle.
To face this request, we have realized a special hard plastic coating (POM) of 1.5 mm thickness. The magnet is completely covered and AdBlue liquid cannot corrode in any case magnet’s surface, in case of direct contact.
We have already realized a pre-serie of 5.000 unit. The project foresees production of other 100.000 magnets for AdBlue nozzle.
