For an important supermarket chain, Bassi Group International has edited, in collaboration with a well-known contractor in the area, the installation of the new magnetic porcelain floor tiles.
The 60x60cm magnetic stoneware floor was laid on pre-existing screeds.
However, in order to obtain magnetic engagement, is required a metal base.
In this particular case the screed was covered with our Metallic Plaster which, having metallic powders receptive to the magnetic coating, with its only 3 mm thickness, is an excellent leveler that guarantees the perfect planarity of the surface to cover.
Ceramics’laying, with the patented magnetic self-laying system, becomes in this way quick and clean.
The magnetic self-laying system, in the specific case of the magnetic stoneware floor, has been awarded the Heavy Duty Certification by the Centro Ceramico of Bologna.
This ensures that it is suitable for use in environments subject to high weight.
