An Italian big company of ceramics has partnered with Compo Tech Co to create a design corner at Malpensa airport. The aim was to replace a ceramic cover to realize a restyling area dedicated to travelers. The project to remove the old cover and commissioning the new installation was a very exorbitant investment. How to realize it with lower cost? With Magface magnetic solution. Compo Tech Co’s staff studied, together with the ceramic company, an alternative solution to save intervention costs’ and, above all, limit the costs for future restyling. So we started by producing a metal panel with Ironflex applicable over the old ceramics thanks to simple screws: in this way the entire area becomes a support for the magnetic installation, replaceable countless times without the need of specialist operations. Ceramics of the new cover is coupled with the revolutionary Mag Film 100/80 with a holding force of 25 kg/m2 (granted for vertical laying coupled to Ironflex 50) and simply positioned on the panel. The Magface system it’s the revolutionary patent for the magnetic self-laying, it does not require glues, does not ruin the materials, is ecological and allows to change many times the material laid on the surface.
