Thanks to the magnetic self-lying system patented by Bassi Group International, it’s possible to lay magnetically also bigger tiles, without using glue and without puttying tiles.
The latest trend of ceramics companies is produce porcelain stoneware tiles even in extra-large dimension with maximun measure of 360x160cm and a thickness from 3mm to 6mm.
Tiles, previously made magnetic according to the patent specification with only 1 mm of thickness, are then laid on the silent metallic film : the new soundproofing mat realized by the union of the insulating mat with IronFlex ferrous film. Total thickness of only 3.5 mm. The Silent mat is a very good acoustic and thermal insulator. It creates a vapor barrier and is waterproof: although his metallic side, it does not rusts thanks to the special surface protection.
The magnetic self-laying is much more than a traditional dry laying: the magnetic latching, in fact, guarantees a tear strength up to 120g/cm2 and it provides to the floor stability and continuous grip over time.
