Along with a well-known Italian research center, Compo Tech Co collaborated in the design of a breakthrough system from portable MRI machine. The need arises in the field of veterinary medicine, to enable fast on-site diagnosis in cases where it is difficult to move the sick animal. How to realize a machine so significantly smaller than those on the market to allow portability? The project is leaded by an Italian Center of Research thanks to the Compo Tech Co collaboration for the design and construction of miniature magnets to be inserted in the machines. The need was to guarantee a very high power from much smaller magnets than those of the normal equipment. Compo Tech Co’s staff has thus realized the magnets in very high induction neodymium Br 1,40 mT (NM45SH), very small (11 x 11 x 1 mm), Licensed for US, Canada and Japan exports, capable of ensuring the functioning of the portable MRI machines, used in the field of veterinary medicine in the United States.
