Compo Tech Co. produces magnetic systems specifically for mattresses, mats and magnetic covers. Magnetic therapy is applicable to achieve different results, from improving the quality of sleep to the treatment of the pain due to postural and muscle problems or trauma. In recent months, in collaboration with an Italian hospital we have designed and tested an advanced magnetic mat with permanent magnets made to accelerate the recovery of patients who have suffered a muscle injury. Compo Tech Co for this need has therefore created a specific magnetic system by designing small buttons with gold coating (as nickel coating instead could cause allergic reactions) in order to emanate at least 2000 gauss in surface contact. The neodymium buttons are arranged in 7 North-South bands inside the mat, depending on the areas of the body on which they must act. Each magnet is connected via electrical wires to an electrical stimulation device that produces the magnetic pulsing effect. Our staff has been working to design this particular project by developing a specific solution in terms of power, space, comfort and hygiene (the mat is made of waterproof washable material). In the coming months the magnetic mat for hospital sector will be put on market.
