Bassi Group International patented the magnetic self-lying system : lay solution that allows to coat the metallic raised floor with wooden floor, without sacrify the natural inspectionability of the raised floor or the materials’ quality.
The patented magnetic self-lying solution is compatible with planks of different sizes with widths from 120 to 200 mm, length from 1000 to 2200 mm and finished thicknesses of 10,12 and 15mm. The magnetic self-lying system allows to lay also big sizes wooden planks, positioning them with your preferred scheme, guarantying the maximum fixing capacity.
The magnetic layer adds to the wooden floor a thickness less than 1 mm, ensuring a perfect and lasting adherence to the raised floor over time and a tear strength up to 35gr / cm2. The magnetic film is soundproofing and fireproof. This characteristic is proven by the vertical flame test with 20 mm, based on the UL 94-1996REV legislation. 10, 2009 Section 8.
The combination of magnetic wooden floor and raised floor is quite natural, given the increasing spread of raised floor with metal modules. Where, instead, there should be a module of another material, the problem is easily solved with the application of IronFlex, metallic film.
The wooden floor, with the magnetic self-lying patent, it becomes a real topcoat that allows to lay planks in the desired pattern. The magnetic wooden floor guarantees the total raised floor’s inspectionability because not glued on modules.
The raised floor structure it’s the same of the standard module one with 600x600mm, meanwhile the wooden floor’s lay becomes fast, clean and cheaper, without using glues or nails, making the floor immediately walkable.
